Default Shipping rate problem & currency conversion.

Sorry if this has been covered before but I cannot find a solution to this. We use shipping rates defined in 3 zones, zone 1 = GB, zone 2 = AU,US and zone 3 rest of the world! Our zone 3 rate is 99:4.00 that means we want to charge £4.00 to all the countries that use zone 3 shipping rate. Our problem is if a customer logs in and changes the default currency (GB Pound) to say Canadian Dollar the end result is they are charged $4.00 not £4.00. Can anybody tell me how to apply this value in GB pouunds and have the shopping cart convert it to the customers currency, or define it in such a way that we end up with £4.00 and not less. In the example above at todays rate of exchange the shipping rate is almost halved. Many thanks for your replies
