Admin link to preview cart wrong URL

I have a new site and for some reason the URL to the cart that is in the admin is not working correctly. Of course this does not impact customers but is annoying because I don't know how to fix it.

The URL is generated as:


http://www.DOMAIN.com/store/webmaster/www.DOMAIN.com/store/index.php

As you can see the link is appending the correct URL after the present URL in the admin section. It should only be:

www.DOMAIN.com/store/index.php

I don't know where this is coded to fix it? The problem occurred when I changed the paths in the config files from the IP address to the actual domain name after the name propagated. I used the IP to install and set up cart so I would not need to wait. I have done this many times in the past and never had the URL messed up. In the past once I set the paths back to use the URL everything always worked fine.

This is not a critical issue as everything else seems OK but bugs me!

Ideas welcome.

Good advice. Taking a fresh look I found I had omitted the http:// in one place. That also resolved a second problem I had with images not showing in preview when adding a new product. ( They were ok in the store )


Just goes to show you can look and look and still miss something.

Could you please tell me where exactly to find this? Our site apparently has a typo somewhere, and when we click the ONLINE CATALOG link, we getPage Not Found since we accidentally typed in .coml rather than .com

We cannot figure out where this is to fix it!

Thanks for the quick response. We have checked and rechecked - the URL is actually correct in that file.

It also shows up when we e-mail a discount coupon - it directs the customer to the incorrect *.coml URL.

Any additional things we can check?

We had to change web hosts last month and hadn't come across this (don't know if we just hadn't noticed it, or if it wasn't a problem then).

I don't know if this helps, but it seems that wherever it is pulling the +URL from (below in bold) is where our problem is:

Yep. Every configure.php file we have appears to have the correct URL.

But obviously you are wrong, because at least one of them is incorrect. That error can only come from one or other of your configure.php files, unless you have some redirection taking place in a .htaccess file (in which case the site wouldn't work at all).
