Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted

It has been quit some time since "mail gift certificate" has worked. It started way back when I moved to 1.3.8a. At first when I clicked on "mail gift certificates" the program would hangup. I run DrByte's sql fix update query_builder set query_category = 'disabled' where query_name = 'Customers who have never completed a purchase';This stop the hangups but I would get a blank page. I recently tried the blank page debug and i get the following. PHP fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 39 bytes) in /home/.../includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 411. I,m not sure where to go from here.
I'm using:
zen-cart 1.3.8a
PHP 5.2.12
PHP memory limit 32m
MySQL 5.0.89
db size 1,215,405 kb

Please HELP!

Will your host reconfigure PHP to a higher memory-limit? Like 64M or 96M?
