This was because of my zencart being hosted on a Windows server, and of course I should have, as per the install.txt file, followed the instructions to get the permissions on that directory changed:

"** your temp folder must have owner permissions to read/write/execute (chmod 700) for EP to work.
EP now adjusts this for you (unless you have a windows server - ask your host to adjust permissions on this folder for the IIS web server)"

    Note to self: RTF i.txt!!

I try to keep well away from anything that says Microsoft or Windoze on the label.

Linux is far more robust, reliable and attuned to software that's based on php and mysql.

You should seriously consider transferring to a linux box. If your host is worth their salt, they'll do this for you for free.

Well I know this forum hasn't had much activity in some time, but if anyone is still paying attention, I have to ask... Am I missing something?

I have small store with maybe 200 products at most. I have installed and used Easy Populate to get a lot of my products up. I haven't had any problems with it, and it is much faster than trying to update products/qty individually in Admin. However, my issue is that I am also selling on eBay and keeping track of my inventory with QuickBooks. Consequently, I need to update inventory on my zencart store quite frequently so that I do not oversell. Sure, the task of uploading the file once I've entered all the new quantities is easy, but comparing my QuickBooks inventory to the Easy Populate information can literally take me a few hours... and that's with very few products! Is there something else you are using to easily update your quantities?
