PDF Invoice Trend

Hello I would like some input, I have placed multiple order this past week around 6 to bigger companies, I have noticed that they all sent my invoices via pdf format. Is there a new trend for this?

JMO - I would say yes, especially if you are dealing with other businesses versus the general public

As a business, you need the paper trail for obvious reporting reasons and a PDF is an acceptable format versus any alterable html doc or email
