Ok, this is for those who have never used myPHPadmin.

To edit the product name length and change it from 64 characters (I changed mine to 100). Do this:

Backup your database first!

Go into myPHPadmin. On the left side select your database.



Scroll down to Zen_Product_Description and click on it.



Then click Structure in the top left corner of the right side of the screen.



Then find the products_name row and click change on the right side of the row



Change the Length/Value from 64 to the size you want. Don’t go wild. Not sure how this is going to effect your layout in your template.



Now click save in the bottom right corner.


You will find a “products_name” field in the “zen_orders_products” as well.

Go back to step 2 and chose that instead of “zen_product_description” and the rest of the steps are the same.


I used a 2nd browser to view the pages on my site in real time to see how it affected it.
