Customizing Overview Resource Needed

ZenCart v1.3.8

I created the clean folders, prepared for customizing as instructed. Would anyone care to point me to concise customization material that might help avoid wasting time.

Things I'm having trouble discovering:

(1) Connecting product images to checkout. (2) Structuring product image page, shipping information page and PayPal link page.

I've worked with HTML for 15 years, but have no experience with style Sheets. I understand CSS saves time in making sweeping changes throughout complex web-sites. What I'm not catching on to is how to implement ZenCart's mechanism for linking product image to checkout and shipping info page.

css has nothing to do with what you're asking. Stylesheets define colors, fonts and various elements of the look of a site.

Activate PayPal in admin>modules>payment.

Look in the Tutorials/FAQ and Wiki for more info about templates (links at top of page).

If you're interested, there are free templates available for Zen Cart which can be excellent learning tools on how to construct a template. You can see them in action at http://(sorry, site offline)/

I took you up on your suggestion to checkout the templates and actually picked one. Why is it that none of them include PayPal in the payment options?

Payment modules are activated in Admin - Modules - Payment. Templates only affect the appearance of your store.
