Header banner is not working fine

I have just installed zen cart yesterday and now i have changed the template i have downloaded. But the problem is this header banner i haver uploaded it doesn't fit to the it's size it's like a broken image. I've been spending more than 4 hours now trying to read all threads tutorials but still couldn't help me out.

the broken image of the banner looks so awful.

I also tried to modify in the stylesheet.ccs which i get from mysite/store/includes/templates/new template/ccs

but i couldn't find the code that o saw in tutorials like this:

Im really so frustrated now. Im not so into with programming stuffs so bear with me..

Charity, after looking at this image several different ways, it stays the same (looking corrupted)......so.......just for kicks could you please RE-upload "header.jpg" to "includes/templates/jewelry_store/images/" for me, please? Even before you do that, check your image in an image editor, first? Sometimes they just get corrupted being moved from one location to another.

Also, your "logo1.gif" is being called from your default template. Did you forget to change your "includes/languages/English/jewelry_store/header.php" file?

Hi, thank you for replying, however, i have re-uploaded the header.jpg twice already. I used ftp client and yes i have i uploaded it with includes/templates/jewelry_store/images but still no good. I opened it with image editor and it's not corrupted as well. Even the logo.gif i have uploaded also but it seems not showing in my website I'm trying to re-uploading again like what you said. Do you have any other suggestion? thanks again!

Thanks for bringing some points! I can see the logo now. I forgot to change it from header.php file! however. the header banner is really the only thing that makes me really frustrated

Well, whatever you done, you've got both images showing, now, so that's an improvement on that part. But it looks like your styling got a little messed, but nothing that can't be fixed. We'll get it worked out this evening, if you don't get it before then, but I'll probably sleep 'till about noon.

Thanks for such advice! yes it's true my styling is really messy. I have changed the body width to !00% now so that the template im using will fit any browser. However, the right box seems awful because it isn't aligned with the header. Any advice for me?

????not aligned horizontally or vertically? Looks good to me. It's directly in line (horizontally) with Categories Box. That not where you want it?

I have changed it back the #mainwrapper to 980px because the right sidebox isn't aligned with the header banner like errr..vertically. I have another problem though, Is there any way to change the background image in my website like a very tiny snowflakes background image? I'd like to change it instead of just plain white. & there's this unknown box at the upper side of the left sidebox which is my information page. How can i delete it?
Im seeing it when im using safari browser. But im not seeing it when using firefox.

Hi all, I, too, am having a nasty time w/ a header that shows twice -- once as a broken image and then as a series of 4 or 5 maching across the width of the page. See http://redneckbaitcompany.com/store/ for what I mean.

Why? I believe I have the header.php files straight -- obviously NOT! Can anyone help?

And then, I *know* I've got the "broken" image in http://redneckbaitcompany.com/zencar...n/rnbclogo.jpg

About the logo, have you tried editing the header.php (yoursite/zencart/includes/languages/english/your_template)
and replace logo.gif with your own image name?
Just make sure you upload it to the /images folder before editing this file!
