Facebook sidebox -Support Thread

Hello, Thank you for updating.

Now the box displays intermittently. Sometimes works, sometimes does not. Any ideas?

I have no ideas. This box downloads huge number of data from fb before it loads. Redirecting data from another site usually takes long time. I could try to use iframe which could pass validation and be faster.

Hi - Thanks for the handy module.

Previously, my FB sidebox showed the actual number of fans that my business page has. Now it shows 0, even though there are more fans than this. I see this is happening on each of the Zen carts I have this mod installed on (Zen Cart Versions 1.3.8a & 1.3.6).

Any idea why and how to either either correct it? Or, better yet, is there a way to deactivate that number from showing?

Just installed the module which was exactly what I was looking for.

However, the only problem is same as MeltDown's - the like button always has a 0 next to it instead of the true number of 'likes'.
Is this a problem at facebook's end?

I will take a look at it when I get some time. Maybe it is caused be some changes in original code, it seems that the box show only number of friends.

I see that the problem has corrected itself on all of my sites. Must have been a Facebook thing...

I just installed this, but it shows the facebook login screen in the iframe. How can I fix this?

Okay, the api was set up for iframe, so I changed that, but it still shows the fb login or my profile homepage instead of the fans. Ideas?

I see now.
Replace this:

by

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php/' . FACEBOOK_LOCALE . '"></script> 

Now should work fine. I will make new version with external javascript file for SSL and no secure pages. The main problem I relaized now is that sidebox could have some issues with other fcb apps due to javascript code in sidebox.

I changed the HTTPS code and it displays in HTTPS(with an error) but not HTTP. If you get some time to play around with it and have some suggestions let me know! I would like the box to display in both HTTP and HTTPS
