Can not stream movie

I have a 300mb .flv file and I can not get it to stream.

download settings are
stream on
direct off

customer does not want movie save-able

testmovie.flv set for purchase $0.01(in pay per view)

mime settings in hosting account are .flv

windows hosting

local pc is asking "open with" or "Save as"

You need to stream your video through a player (flash).
You can't prevent people from saving the movie.
300mb is kinda big.
Here in California your site won't even open (times out).

when you say thru a player, do you mean configure the movie with player built into it?

Your host will shut you down pronto if you try to stream a 300mb file.

I think you need to do some research on file streaming. There are a handful of hosts that will allow it for such big files - and your hosting charges will be astronomical.

Pulling my hair out, something simple

I have a .flv set on a html page in the download folder
Everything is in the folder including the flv

When i access the file from the root it views and plays fine
after I buy it thru the shopping cart and download it(set to redirect)
Pub folder is 0777, I get the correct page MINUS all the attributes and the movie player The source code is complete yet its missing all the background colors and images and player.

Am I supposed to edit the file in the stub pub folder?

Adding file to zip is best way when using zencart download
option

Add all components of that htm file, including htm, images etc and add to zip file...used that zip file for your zencart download, with txt file in zip to explain how to use zip package.
