Search Box not working!

One more question how did this guys page get the search to work the differnt atributes like size, and shape?

Thank you so much I'm getting the idea that if you know what your doing zencart rocks.

At this time, there isn't a search for the Attributes ...

On the Configuration ... Product Listings ... you have the fields you want to show ...

0 means OFF and any other value is the display order ... if you were to turn off some of the fields like Quantity, Weight and Manufacturer ... the display would look better ...

Sorry I meant If you put in a search for like 8mm or oval you get results for just those. With ours it seems like a random sample thats why I keep asking about search attributes.

That is in the Product Name or Product Description ...

is that the sort order of each product?

Do a search on that site for:
8mm
oval
8mm oval

click on one of the products that comes up ...

Now search via your browser on the product_info page for:
8mm
oval
8mm oval

you will find that in one of the default searchable fields:
products_name
products_description

it has nothing to do with Attributes ...

Because the product_descriptions includes the details on the Product for things like:

Number of Pieces: 1 Weight: 12.52 CTS. Gem Type: Natural untreated star sapphire., Cut : Oval cab....Size: 11.5*10.5*8mm Color: silver-blk . Clarity: opaque., Luster: Excellent.

The customer can search for these terms just like any other words in a products_description ...

If you could take one more look at my site and at the search results to be exact. My question is how do I change the position of the image, price, and item name columns. I'd like them to be in this order Image, Item Name, and Price.

If you go to the Configuration ... Product Listing ...

0 = OFF as in DO NOT show the field ...

any other value is ON as in DO show the field ...

The VALUE ORDER in a numeric order is the order that they display on the Product Listing ...
