You don't worry about the links part of the EZ page setup unless you don't want content on the page. EZ pages have content or internal/external links, not both.

The manual says that EZ-Pages are great for the novice. how can I be missing this fly on my nose? If I don't edit the link fields, how do I place the content of the EZ-Pages where I want it to appear?

EZ pages are actual pages in themselves. They aren't a way of adding content to other pages.

When you create an EZ page, you put your content in the big box labelled 'HTML Content', select where you want it to display, add a name for the page and click 'Update'.

The links boxes at the bottom can be used if you want to have a link in the EZ pages sidebox that links to an existing internal page, or an external URL.

Try it both ways, activate the ezpages sidebox and see how it works.

Hi, I want to do something slightly different. I'm a self-taught novice but have been muddling through with the help of this incredibly useful forum.

I have created an E-Z Page called Youtube. I have also added a blank_sidebox which I have called Youtube. At the moment the sidebox has links to youtube which open in a new page. The Youtube E-Z Page is currently empty.

I would like to have the user click on the link in the sidebox and have it play directly (embedded?) in my website much the way this one does http://www.rubberduckbathrooms.co.uk...671654b252a6af

I don't want the user being taken to another site, I want these to link up with the Youtube E-Z Pages.

Is this possible? Am I doing it the hard way?

If it's not asking too much I would also like the person I am building the website for to be able to easily edit and add to these links in the future.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

    Sue :)
