Idea or Suggestion Re: Editable Home Page Centerboxes

    Hi,
I have install the mod and put images in the boxes. On my local machine, the images are showing. When I uploaded to a test server,
the images do not load. I have check and am certain that the files are in the appropriate folder with the correct permissions. Can someone help me. The url is http://vanni.x10.mx/vanni/
    Thank you.

Images definitely not there or you have wrong permissions: Files should be 0644, directories 0755 (or 777 while you upload).

If using an editor, be careful using it because sometimes changes the links of images.

Note: I made a space to avoid link.

    Ideasgirl, thanks for your reply.
I have doubled check and found the permissions are as stated by you. The code for the images is
    HTML Code:
    <a href="index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1"><img src="images/mdc1.jpg" alt="Casual" width="200" height="200" /></a>
Where could I have gone wrong?

Just to be certain insert this image path instead:
http://vanni.x10 .mx/vanni/images/mdc1.jpg (without space) just in case code is looking in another folder rather than the main root images.

You'll need to ask your question elsewhere in the forum as it's not specifically related to this mod.. The order in which the default Zen Cart product centerboxes (new products, specials, featured products) and the main page content appear is a default Zen Cart thing. This mod doesn't affect that. The settings for this mod only affect the placement of the editable centerboxes..

This mod has solved a big problem for me and I think it's wonderful, but I cannot manage to get my centerboxes lined up the way my client wants them.

I have used this mod to allow a centerbox to contain a rotating jscript advert, but the main page needs to be structured like this:

    Editable Centerbox (jscript Advert)
    New Products
    Mainpage content

I've changed as many options as I know of, but I cannot get the new/editable centerbox on top, the new products in the middle, and the main page content on the bottom... I can achieve almost any other combination, but not the one I need! :) Right now I have:

    Editable Centerbox (jscript Advert)
    Mainpage content
    New Products

I cannot get the bottom two to swap like I had them prior to this sweet mod.

    Please help! :)

I hate to interrupt this discussion, but the issue here does not seem to be related specifically to an issue with the Editable Home Page Centerbox mod.. This issue is related to how content within the boxes was formatted on a local server versus a test server.. This issue is NOT specific to this mod. It's more of an issue of how the centerbox content was formatted.. Vanni you'll need to ask your question elsewhere in the forum..

    Hello!

I've been using this mod and it's helped me to overcome some design issues that my clients wanted. Thanks!

However... :) Is there a way to use more than one Centerbox and sort them freely? It appears that if you use more than one Centerbox, they must be positioned directly on top of each other. I would like to use Centerboxes to 'sandwich' my mainpage.php/defined page content.

I have not been able to accomplish this so far. Am I missing something or does this otherwise very nice addition lack that functionality?

    Thanks again!

Do I recall correctly that there are supposed to be several locations for the centerboxes, above or below stock content blocks? Can more than one of the centerbox locations be active at the same time?

Not set up to work that way.. You can only pick one location at a time..
