Dynamically change Product Desciption

Hi,

Hope some one can help me with this.

What I need to do is dynamically change the Displayed Stock Description of a product so that it 1) makes it clear to the user what the product is for, and 2) will give a better Search Engine ranking.

The site has a products that can belong to many catageories, ie a clutch kit for one car will fit many other cars.

So what i want to do is display the description of a product plus the category that they have navigated to; to get there. ie details from the breadcrumb trail.

Is this possible.

ie this clutch :-
http://www.harvestermotorfactors.com...oducts_id=1513


will fit many vehicles, but i would like the description to say
"Valeo clutch kit for Peugoet 306 1.4" as that is ho it is got to from menu etc.

From your question I assume you have one product, i.e., a clutch, which is then shared across several categories/sub-categories? If so...

The only easy way to do this is to put descriptive text into each category and sub-category, and turn that on in admin. The description of the clutch would be the same throughout, but there'd be additional text of some sort above that which is particular to the sub/category the clutch happens to appear in.

I have thoght of that, but that is not what I am after.

For example a particular vehicle could have 1 or more clutches etc dependent on engine codes etc, and each one of those clutches could fit many vehicles.

At the present I have standard description for a product that belongs to many categories, the categories are the make model year etc of the vehicles.

The problem is that when you navigate to the product the standard description appears ie Valeo CLutch Kit.

What I would like is to pick out from the bread crumb trail additional item to add to the Product Name before it is displayed, so that it displays

Valeo CLutch KIt for Mazda 323 BA1 1.8i

It will make it far easier for the user when the site is searched and make sense when the page is displayed.
