Adding categories after products are entered???

How do I enter a NEW category after I already have inventory in the cart???

Since you have some categories already, you can add new categories at the top level; then if you want subcategories of your existing categories, move the products out of the existing category, make the new subcats, and move the products into the subcats.

If you don't have any categories at all, you will have to delete all of your products before you can create categories.

My answer was originally written to cover a general situation. If you want subcategories in one of your existing categories, just move the products out of it to a temporary location (some other category), create your subcats and move the products into the new subcats.

Top level means main categories.

I can't even create subcategories!!! I also noticed that I can't add to my manufacturer's list either...
