Hi,

I am currently running Zencart 1.3.8a and PHP Version 5.3.0.
I have a few questions regarding attaching attributes to products.

1. I currently have the attributes set up to allow a customer to upload an image or text file with the following option name and value.

Option name: Upload your image
Option value: TEXT

I have found posts on the Zen-cart forum saying that the images get uploaded to the images/uploads directory. Is there a way to have a customer’s uploaded images and text files uploaded into the Admin site?

Is there a way when a customer uploads a file they can check that the file has been uploaded? (When a customer is on the shopping cart page they can click on their image to view the file?)

2. If a customer orders a product and there is an additional charge that is required for purchase of that product. Is there a way to link an attribute to the quantity a customer orders, so a customer doesn’t choose a small additional charge amount?
(When a customer places an order for 10 of a product then the lowest additional charge they can select is for 10. They cannot select an additional charge amount that would be for an order of 2 or 5 of the product)

Truly not easily
ZenCart renames the uploads for the reason that 2 uploads might be names identically causing a loss of one of the images

I think what I highlighted is the main issue???
What have you set in the product fir min?
What attributes have you created and assigned to this product?

What is the product fir min? Where is it located?

The attributes that I have created and assigned to this product are the following:

Option Name: Run Charges
Option values: minimum 125
Option value: minimum 250
Option value: minimum 500
Option value: minimum 1000
Option value: minimum 2500
Option value: minimum 5000
Option value: minimum 10000


I am looking to have attributes setup, so when a customer chooses to order a quantity of 500 of our product. They can only choose option value: minimum 500 or higher to purchase the product.

What is the product fir min? Where is it located?

It is part of the screen where you setup your products BUT from what you posted you do not need it

When there make the selection "Priced by Attributes" and enter no price

Then when adding your attributes add your price

Thanks for your help with the previous questions.

I have a few more about attributes and some about quantity discounts.

Is there a way to remove an attribute price (+0.00) on the shopping cart page? Some of my attributes don’t have a prices associated with it? (A customer choosing a color) How would I complete this? (Attached screen shot Color-Red attribute)

Does Zen Cart allow a user to put the one time fee associated with an attribute where the + $0.00 is or remove the $0.00 that is currently displayed?

Quantity Discount Questions

I have set up quantity discounts for my products using ranges (100-250, 251-500, 501-1000). Is it possible to to have the quantity set to particular product amounts (100,250, 500, 1000)? Similar to what is displayed on the following product page.

How do I remove or change the language of text that is appearing in between the product name and product price? (* Jednorázové poplatky lze použít) It is also appearing above my quantity discount boxes on my products.

Does Zen Cart allow a user to increase their products qty units by multiplying the previous quantity by two or by different amounts (125, 250, 500, 1000, etc) or (50, 100, 250, 500, 1000)? How would I input it in to the Product Qty Units box?
