    Default Changing Root Hierarchy?

My ZenCart address fallows this hierarchy
    /public_html/shoppingcart/*.*

To reach my site from a search engine, it is necessary to type
    mydomain.com/shoppingcart

Can I smove ZenCart out of my subdirectory /shoppingcart and put it in /public_html

I want to be able to reach my site from a search engine with mydomain.com alone.
    I await your thoughtful response.
    Thank you
