Free Shipping

I've been looking around at various FAQs trying to get this working but to no avail.

I'm using ZenCart Version 1.3.8p3.

Basically I'm using ZenCart as an online-ordering system for this restaurant.

They deliver and of course have pick-up.

Basically they want this.

Orders Under $10 can ONLY be Pick-Up
Orders Above $10 can be Pick-Up or Delivery (Free)

At first I was just using a minimum order total of $10, but the client later said they still wanted to be able to have pick-up as an option for orders under $10.

So I've been trying to get it to only show the Delivery option if the order is above $10.

Except the way I tried it (Modules->Order Total->Shipping - Enabled as 'Always Free Shipping') then doesn't give me the option for "Pick-Up" on orders above $10.

And the (Modules->Shipping->Free Shipping Options) Doesn't show up as an option at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Turn on the Shipping Modules for:

Store Pickup storepickup

Free Shipping Options freeoptions
Configure for Total >= 10.00 and leave all other settings BLANK not 0.00 but BLANK as in nothing in the input boxes ...

Now, the Store Pickup storepickup will always show and the Free Shipping Options freeoptions will only show when there is an order of $10.00 or more ...

Viola! You are done!

NOTE: make sure that you turn off the Free Shipping on the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ... if you have that turned on ...

NOTE: make sure you turn off that Always Free Shipping on the Products if you still have that on ...

Hm...When I go to checkout (With an order total above $10) I still only see the "Store Pickup" shipping option.

Here's how it's currently set.

[Store Pickup (storepickup)]
Installed and enabled.

[Free Shipping Options (freeoptions)]
Installed and enabled.
Total >= is set to 10, everything else is either blank or 0 or default setting.

All other Shipping Modules are not installed.

As for Order Total Modules

The [Shipping (ot_shipping)] module is not installed.

As for the product settings - under "Always Free Shipping" they are all set to "No, Normal shipping rules".

That not being blank may be your problem.

Ah! The problem was in Configuration->Shipping & Packaging -> Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status - I set that to no and it works now.

Knew I should of reminded you about that one too ...

NOTE: make sure that you only have the two shipping modules installed ... I say that as if you saw the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper when you had it set to 0 weight means free shipping then you probably have that one installed too, and you do not need it unless you are using 0 weight for Free Shipping or have Products marked as Always Free Shipping ...

Yeah while trying to get it work earlier I had freeshipper enabled and freeoptions since I was so frustrated, but now it's disabled and only freeoptions and storepickup are enabled.

NOTE: disabled and REMOVED is two different things ... so be sure once things are running happily that on all Modules for Shipping, Payment and Order Total that you only have INSTALLED the ones you actually use and that you click on the ones you are not using and make sure that you have REMOVED them ...

NOTE: also on Sort Orders on Modules make sure that they are all unique values or all set to 0 ... this holds true for everything except the Order Total modules where those must have proper Sort Orders to calculate correctly ...

I cannot figure this out.
Here is what I have
1) I always have store pick up on
2) I have shipping tables (I have light products and heavy products and each is calculated for different zones in Canada and the US

What I would like to do is allow the "lighter" products to have free shipping when over $75.00. The heavy products must not change.

They are in different categories if that helps.

I've tried doing this with the free shipping options and I used the
Total>= $75.00 (but that makes it for all my products)

Any ideas?
Can you use two of the functions at the same time in the free shipping options?
