Recurring Customer Purchases

We're a small design and development shop working with a client that is a wholesale distributor of dry and packaged goods for school vending machines.

We're looking for a shopping cart solution that serves his small recurring customer base. Specifically: A customer can pull up a product portfolio (subset) or history rather than have to browse the entire store every time he orders.

Is there a way for us to implement this with this application or possibly through a custom module?

The order history sidebox contains links to all the products that customer has previously ordered, so if he orders from a limited set of products, eventually they'll all be in there. You could populate that history in advance if you wanted.

You could also set up each recurring customer as a category, then just link the products he wants to order to the subcategories under his category.
