What's first?

Hi, I just installed Zencart yesterday (http://www.carrotsails.com/) and I need to know how to even get to the admin area so that I can begin customizing the changes. Very basic beginnings, I know

Thanks. I went there and it wasn't recognizing a username and password. So, I asked it to send me one and it didn't recognize my email....???? I only have one email, so what's with that?

go into your phpMyAdmin this is a link under the Heading Called Databases in your cpanel

1. click on your database and you will notice around 95 tables that are associated with your website..
2. click on admin
3. here you will notice the email address you used

Thank you. If I've gone to the right place, I don't see any email address except an unchecked default for one particularly for the website.

I only have one email address that I use, my yahoo email address, and if I had ever been asked for an email address I would have given that one. Perhaps I haven't given it one, is there that chance?

You forgot to change it when you set up zen cart

actually, I don't remember being given the option. Like I said, I would have chosen my yahoo email. I don't know how to check this other email - and don't even want it. I do everything only through one email. Is there a way to change it to my yahoo email?

Yeah! I finally called bluehost and they had me uninstall zencart and re-install it - then, pointed out in step two, I needed to drop-down the area, and choose my user name and password. That's what was wrong. Now, hopefully, I can make some progress :)
