I installed on a linux sever now my template doesnt work and my admin doesnt

Hey everyone

I installed zen cart on a linux sever, and installed my template now i cant see the template only text and the same on the admin page.. only text.. ive swapped the templates around and its still the same.. please help me as im very new to this !!

Does your template have a template_info.php file with it on the server?

Yes it does indeed, i installed it with a sql patch aswell does that make a difference on a linux sever?

Linux is the preferred platform

Without seeing what you have attempted and have it is difficult to troubleshoot

Templates should be in the following form for dir's

/includes/templates
        /classic
        /my_custom _template1
        /my_custom _template2
        /my_custom _template3
        /template_default

Viewing the source it is picking up the template name but this could be a remnant from the DB....

It is not finding the stylesheet.css that should be in your template folder structure

Post your template structure

im so sorry but what do you mean by template structure?

The top template folder for your template, files in it, then the sub folders contained within, and the files contained in each, etc
Along the lines of my #4 post here
