I would like to download the Add on of (Catagorie Dressings) but I do not know where exactly to put the folders and files. For example the first folder is (ch_category) folder. Since there is no folder already in zencart where do I put this folder?

The mod is already in the proper ZenCart structure - - -
There are folders in it named "your_template" and these need to be changed to the name of your template folder - -
Then using FTP your drag & drop the mod and it will create/copy them to the correct places
Thanks Kobra for trying to help but I still do not understand where to drop the first folder named: ch_category. The rest of them I can figure out.
You should be dropping the FULL includes folder from your local to your serverThanks Kobra for trying to help but I still do not understand where to drop the first folder named: ch_category. The rest of them I can figure out.
Drop to the space on server NOT on top of any specific folder when you can see the /includes folder on the server
According to the instructions that accompany the module:
... you will apply this stuff ONLY if you want to use the Uncollapsed facility. If you wish to use the Uncollapsed Categories Tree to display all subcategories all the time, do the same to /ch_category/includes/modules/sideboxes/your_template/, and /ch_category/includes/templates/your_template/.
Then ftp the /includes/ folder inside /ch_category/ to the same place.
Rename the main package's stylesheet_categories_dressing.css to stylesheet_categories_dressing.css.bak to avoid conflicts.
Activate the chcategories sidebox as described in readme_ch_categories.txt.
If you do, then OPEN ch_category folder, where you will again see includes folder.
This then corresponds with includes folder in your zc installation. Then you follow the instructions for that feature.
If you DON'T want the uncollapsed functionality, then ignore that folder.
My advice is to try the normal functionality first (ignore that folder).

Thanks for the info I will give it a try.
Wish someone could come up with a book called "Zen-Cart for Dummies"
