Link Product - Link Removal

I have managed to link a few products but now would like to remove some of them.

I have searched the forums for the past 3 hours but can't seem to find any information on removing product "Links" so any help or guidance appreciated.

How do I remove a linked product to leave it on its own in its original category?

Is there a central control hub where I can work my way through products, one category at a time and remove the ones I no longer want linked?

In the category management screen (product list level) for product that are LINKED, click the little red DELETE icon.

This will bring up a little box where it shows the linking arrangements and you simple TICK the category(ies) that you want the product removed from and keep UNTICKED the category you want it retained in.

You may need to re-set Master Category ID's as well - esp. if you keep the product in its LINKED category and remove it from its MASTER category.

the delete link by default is "tick" all
is there a way to set "untick" all by default?
and add a box for "tick all"

Is there not a way to batch remove links on, let's say, "Sold" items? In other words, while an item is active I may want to display, via a link, this product in 2 or more categories, however once it sells, I want to remove the links and set the master category to my sold items. I already know how to set the master category on sold items to my "Sold" category via a simple SQL statement. I just want to be able to remove the links once the master cat has been update. Anyone have any ideas or bump into this one before? If so, what is the solution?
