Default Left side bars loading first and then middle section later?

Yesterday before I began changing my tag line statement, I decided it would be best to back everything up in case I messed the page up. In the process of making the backup, I deleted 3 files in the image section that I thought were broken files because on 3 occasions when I was uploading product images the images were not uploading correctly. The rest seemed to upload fine. When I tried to back up the files using IPSwitch ftp from the server, it wouldn't download those 3 files and I thought those were the 3 images that didn't upload correctly. Thus, I deleted them.

Immediately my website wasn't loading correctly; therefore, I asked my hosting company to restore my website but they didn't have a recent version. As such I though ok, I am going to have to start all over. However, this morning the website is loading fine, except that it appears that the left hand column boxes load first and they load in the middle of the screen and then after a brief time it moves into place and the middle portion of the website (between the left and right hand columns) finally loads. It's not a long time in the delay, but is this normal?

Do Zen Cart websites generally load the left hand columns and then the middle and right columns creating a slight delay before the whole webpage is visible? Or is this because I messed something up when I deleted the 3 image files, that appeared to be broken (unopenable files that didn't load to server correctly)?

    Thanks

Default Re: Left side bars loading first and then middle section later?

I think this was answered a few days ago, and relates to a "centering" declaration somewhere in the stylesheet.

Yes... in essence it is normal behaviour, but can also suggest a very slow host server or internet connection.

The page will load in the following order:

Header, Left Col, Centre Col, Right Col, Footer - which is logical because that's the flow of the HTML

Who is hosting your site. Ask them if they are running a coal-fired server, or of they have one that uses electricity...
