Maximum Sub Categories to List

Looking for a way to cap the Maximum Number of Sub-Categories to list on a page. I would like to list 15 and then have a next page button to see the next 15 and so on.

I know this can be accomplished with products, but would like to put in place for Sub-Categories.

Please let me know if this can be found in the Maximum Values in the admin or if it is something someone has coded.

did you get a fix for this?
All my subcategories are listing in a big single page, i would like to limit this.

If i edit "maximum categories products display list" it has no effect.

If you look at the link, you will see that the page in fact has a "page n of m" functionality for subcategories. Apparently the OP did find a way to do it.

Sorry, that's not the kind of thing I have experience with. It should be possible to adapt the feature from product listings.
