Why do attributes change product display?

I'm assuming you're using the Column Grid Layout mod. It looks like there's a version of that for 1.3.5. I would still upgrade, though.

Hey, thanks for the information. I think it is also within the column layout. I noticed in the generated source code that a product without an attribute has </td></tr></table> in the line for that item but when an attribute is associated with a product these instructions are missing.

I'll read up on upgrading and give it a go.
