Hi everyone,
What i am looking to do is when a customer adds a product to the shopping cart with the "add to cart" button i want the website to open the shopping cart with a link to "continue shopping" as apposed to it just telling you that your product has been added to the cart and leaving you at the product's landing page. I have searched the forums and i have not found a solution to this... any information helps thanks alot.

What you're asking for is the default normal behavior. What you're saying it's doing instead is a result of changing the setting for Admin->Configuration->My Store->Display Cart After Adding Product
