Suppress display of zero qty products?

Hello,

How do I suppress the display of products that have zero (or less) stock quantity completely?

1) Searched forums, but could not find answers.

Any help appreciated.

Setting Admin > Configuration > Stock > "Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to" to 0 does not suppress display. Setting to 1 does not suppress display either.

What else could you suggest please?

Apparently (I just tested this) setting that switch to '0' will change the display of an item when it goes out of stock. Try setting one of your products to a quantity of 1 then buy that product in a test purchase. When you go back, it should have been removed from the product listing.
