Shopping Cart - Main Page?

When someone logs in, can they immediately see the shopping cart contents?
I can see "Main Page - Opens with Category" which works, can I do Main Page - Opens Shopping Cart?

Yes I would see that it would be empty.
I would like it to be empty, then the customer can just add the quantity and submit.
I was trying to avoid having customers do the "add cart thing" for every item.
My customers will send me an order every day so I am trying to save them as many clicks as possible.

Is there a way to accomplish my goal with zen cart?

You'll have to explain a little more completely what you're trying to accomplish. As kobra asked, if you take visitors dircetly to the cart, how will they add a product to it ?

I don't see any logic to your request. As Kobra says, upon first entry, the shopping cart would be emply, requiring ADDITIONAL steps (clicks) by the visitor to get to where they want to be.

The successful sites pepper their welcome page with PRODUCT DATA, such as special offers, must-have items, topical and useful products, etc. When these have "buy now" buttons, the action required to get the cart "active" is a single click. Your proposal will require at least THREE clicks before a product can be added. Your site will be 66% LESS EFFICIENT.

You can embed shopping cart stats into the header, of have a sidebox for it. But to have it as the welcome page is not a good idea.

When I go to the supermarket, I KNOW my trolley will be empty before I walk into the store. How wonderful it would be if it were otherwise... Imagine arriving at the supermarket and having a FULL trolley waiting for you, filled with all the stuff you have on your list...
