Somehow, Lost the 'Verify Coupon' Sidebar

Howdy, I'm using version 1.38a

after going through a ton of fun on the install, and then squaring away a few things with the setup as a whole, I can't seem to find the

'verify coupon' sidebar. That little spot that was there by default where you could key in a coupon code and it would tell you what it was for.

I've gone through quite a bit of customization, and I'd hate to reinstall...where is this daggone thing?

Do you mean the 'Discount Coupon' link in the information sidebox?

Aha! It's hidden in there! Thanks so much! Now I'm off on a fishing expedition to figure out how I'd go about linking what the coupon code relates to. IE they lookup code 511 and it shows 'PRODUCT X' and a link to add it to their cart.

Or something like that.

You set up the coupon in Admin - Gift Certificate/Coupons - Coupon Admin.

After you create the coupon, you can click on Restrictions to limit the categories or products the customer can use it for.

Then, when she enters the coupon code in the page she reached by clicking that link in the Information sidebox, it will tell her what the coupon can be used for, and how long it's valid.

Right, I've gotten as far as creating the coupon (I had busied myself with getting the 'Checkout without logging in' deal setup) When I search for the coupon, it exists - I'm just trying to keep hassle to a minimum, so whilst they're on the coupon information page, they can have an immediate link...
