TABLE CRASHED - URGENT, please help me...

MY website is giving this message at the main CUSTOMER LOGIN URL. My ADMIN is working fine though!

145 Table './singer_zencart1/zen_whos_online' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
in:
[delete from zen_whos_online where time_last_click < '1269495808']

NOTE: I have NOT made any changes or anything to cause this. I was not even online when it happened. My website has been up for YEARS and this has never happened before. PLEASE HELP, I AM LOSING CUSTOMERS OVER THIS.

Use your phpmyadmin tool to repair the table. Takes just a second.

I logged into my Cpanel. I found the PHPMYADMIN button, but all it does is bring up my database. PLEASE tell me where to go from here. I need this fixed asap.... I appreciate any help!

Start by going to your cpanel or whatever control panel your hosting company provides and find phpmyadmin. Open it.

On the left you should see a link for your database. click this.

Now toward the bottom of the screen about in the middle, there are a dropdown what to do with selected tables and a button to select all tables.

Select all tables and from the dropdown choose check table, then do it again choosing repair table, then again choosing optimize table.

All done.

If you are really unsure, pm me and I will walk you through on phone or do it for you. Free of course.

ps: your hosting company will often be able to do this for you just for asking.

Am glad it fixed it up. Doing the optimize part may even help quicken things up if it has not been done in a long time.
