Order deleted?

Zen Cart 1.3.8a
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
PHP Version 5.2.9-2
Server OS: Windows NT PEMWINWEB09 6.0 build 6002

I encountered a problem when updating an order today.
The order was at status Processing[2]. I added comments with order status at Processing[2], Notify Customer - checked, Append Comments - checked

I clicked Update and and the status history added a new entry.

However this entry did not contain the comment and had an X in the Customer Notified column.

When I returned to the main orders.php screen the order had disappeared. I can see the order when I query the database directly and the the order has a status of 0 (deleted?).

Has anyone encountered this or can suggest a fix? How can I get the order back into Admin and how do I prevent this from happening again?

Sounds like something failed as you updated this order. You can try simply changing the order status back to 1, which should bring it back into view in the admin.

There is no real "deleted" status within the database - if an order is deleted, all records relating to this order are permanently removed from the database.
