Specials Display - More than 1 Box

hi - I posted the below on another tread that I thought was the same issue but not

I am a newbie and have just taken over a site and would like to display more than one Special on the right side - I have many products listed in the WSpecials group and they rotate when the page refreshes but I want more than one Specials box on the right side. There is a GUI with the cart that I inherited and in the Configuration/Maximum Values group there is an entry for "Maximum Display of Specials Products - Main Page" and this number is set to 12 but I think this might be the number that rotates with page refresh not sure. Any help greatly appreciated!

Admin - Configuration - Maximum Values - Random Products On Special for Sidebox

If that were my site, I might set the above for 4 or so, and move everything but the Categories over to the right side.

Here are all the setting I have, dont have that exact one you are referring to - I have ver. 1.3.7, all set to 10:

Random Product Reviews For Box - 10
Random New Products For Box - 10
Random Products On Special For Box - 10
Random Featured Products For Box - 10

how do I move the other boxes to the right side?

Must be a version difference - mine (1.3.8a) says Random Products On Special for SideBox, and when I changed it fro 1 to 6, my stock test site shows 6 items in that box.

Might be time for an upgrade.

You move sideboxes in Admin - Tools - Layout Boxes Controller.

If you don't want right sideboxes, though, you probably wnt to turn that column off globally in Admin - Configuration - Layout Settings.
