The easiest is to grab all of the admin, includes and images - you may also want to grab the others if you are using downloads or any of the other features of Zen.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
Best is to copy the ENTIRE public_html folder to your local HD

Hi Kim~
Sorry to be so dumb at this but I clicked on my 'public_html' folder which then shows all of it's contents. I click on "Download" to save the entire public_html folder on my computer, but the 'Download' button is not highlited to let me choose it.
HOW do you "grab" a folder and Save it to your computer in order to save it to a disc?
Thanks so much for your help!![]()
Use an FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) program to download the files instead of using your host's Control Panel.
My cart is installed in root (public_html) and I just use FileZilla to FTP all the Zen Cart folders and files in the \public_html folder to a backup folder on my PC. If your cart is installed in a sub-directory, just FTP the entire sub-directory to your PC.
NOTE: In FileZilla, you can also turn on "Preserve timestamps of transferred files" if you want to keep the same timestamps of the folders and files as they exist on the server. I find that very useful for quick comparisons between backups.
