Site accepting credit card payments, but I have no idea how!

I have searched all over, but I have not found anyone with my particular problem. I have version 1.3.8, no upgrades or addons.

Here's the problem... I only want to accept PayPal, and I have all credit card options/modules turned OFF. I only have PayPal Express Checkout turned ON. I have a relatively new site and only have gotten two orders through it, and somehow BOTH of those orders came through as "Payment Method: Credit Card". They did NOT go through PayPal. I have no PayPal receipt and no credit card numbers, just "Credit Card" as payment method.

Here's the even more confusing thing... I cannot for the life of me figure out how these people "paid" with a credit card! I have run transactions all the way through myself, testing it out, and there is NO CREDIT CARD OPTION. Only PayPal! It directs you right to PayPal, with no choice to make, no dropdown list, nothing.

I have had to email both customers, explaining that I cannot accept credit cards - even thought for some reason my site wants to - and then email them a PayPal request for payment. It is quite embarrassing, and I don't know how to fix it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!!

Do you by any chance simply have those modules all set to "Enabled=false", but didn't actually click "Remove" to make sure they can't be used at all?
