I need regular webpages.

I already have EZ pages and they are fine although I still need more general pages. Currently my options are listing them under the information sidebox, or the more Infomation side box. I am looking for another option.

I have also tried creating an new category/product type - general document/product type document....that doesn't look the way I want it to because it says price. Even though they are free.

This is what I'm trying to do:

Create a Modeling category which only conatins articles that are not products. Also I do not want to integrate cms. Please help.

ezpages are in Important Links, so there are 3 sideboxes to list in...

If you look at my nephew's site in my sig, all of the information is document general. There are no prices.

As many times as I've looked at that in the admin you just turned that lightbulb over my thick head on.
I just never saw Document General in the right light.

Ok great you know exactly what I need, now how do I create those docs? It told me to create a category, and create the product type as document general, but that only put it into the Categories box listing it as a product. I want it just like your nephews site. Please tell me how to add that type of page and where to add it. I want it in it's own sidebox.

Check your setting in admin>catalog>product types>Document - General. Click on "edit" not "edit layout" and make sure the box labeled "This Product can be added to cart:" is NOT checked.

I also have his site in showcase mode since there are no products to sell.

Yes I have that set. Although his is in a seperate sidebox that is lables Articles. Is that the articles sidebox the news/articles mod or something else?

That would be the documents sidebox with its title changed.

You want to set Configuration > Layout Settings > Split Categories Box to "true". This will put document-general items in the documents sidebox.
