That would be the documents sidebox with its title changed.

You want to set Configuration > Layout Settings > Split Categories Box to "true". This will put document-general items in the documents sidebox.

Just out of interest, would it be possible to then remove the left and right sideboxes completely when the page shows one of the documents?

Aha, okay thanks... I never tried hiding sideboxes so wasn't sure just what is involved and I just thought of a good use for this for the future
