TROUBLE - It suddenly says my includes folder is missing

Hi, Newbie here. I was customizing my new Zencart (new install) and now cannot access the includes folder. the error is:

"includes:no such file or directory"

Needless to say, I'm a little frightened. The ftp program shows the folder, but I can't do anything with it. Can you help?

False alarm. Seems it took my server a little time to catch up with the permission changes I made. Boy, I am backing up RIGHT NOW!
