How would i go about creating clickable boxes on the main page where they advertise special offers.

Like seen here

I'm talking about where they show the rowing machine crosstrainer etc.??

Any ideas please??

in admin go to Tools > Define page editor .
from drop down select
define_main_page.php .
from second drop down Select Htmlarea .

now you can use this page as regular html editor to add your div , table , images , styles , etc to do what you see on that template .
