Calculating Weight

Hi I would like to know if I have a bead which weighs .000661 pounds and the little snaplock bag it is in is also weighs .000661 pounds and customers buy 3 beads that will fit into the snaplock - how does Zen Cart calculate that when everything at the end gets added up for shipping which would then have to have packaging added. Confused??

I suggest you don't go there.... you'll only end up even more confused.

You need to do less reading and thinking and more 'experimenting'.

From a practical point of view I'd suspect that it wouldn't matter if a customer bought one of your beads, or 100 of them, the shipping cost will probably be the same.

Thanks for that Rod .. u r right of course .. sometimes when confronted with all the learning involved one over complicates things. Just a quick question tho .. do i have to change weight from lbs to grams for australian shipping? Thanks
