Remove Add to Cart button from one product

Hello everyone...newbie here.
I have one item I need to add to the store that is actually an affiliate of my company. I want that product to have nothing but a few paragraphs of information and a link to the affiliate's site. I need the "Add to Cart" button to not show up. I've spent quite some time searching the forums and haven't found a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't know much about how you are operating your shop??
If you are not using the stock maintenance feature you could enable it and set this item to "0" stock
This will present the "sold out" image
Crack your image editor out and make/edit this image to state what you want - - DO NOT change it's name and replace the current one with your edited one

You can also make that product of a different product type (Document - General, for example) and turn off the Add to Cart for that type in admin.

The alternate product type is the best approach.

Hi.

I have a similar issue and tried to use the Document General product type for a few products that need this approach, but when I create a product it doesnt have an option for inputting price and doesnt display a price. Am I doing something wrong?

Document-General items don't have prices.
Document-Product items do.
