how to change length of category entries

Hi,

we have very long category names, and they get cut off after saving.
Since they are trademark names we can't keep it that way.

For example:
Lifestyle Balanced Solutions Programm

is displayed as:
Lifestyle Balanced Solutions Pro

How can I change the length of what is displayed?

First thing you need to do is back up your database. Trust me, I learned this the hard way!
The default length is 32 characters for your categories.

Go to your control panel, open your phpMyAdmin. Locate your database and open it.
In your list of tables you will see: DATABASE_PREFIX_categories_description
Look for the category name. Then click on the edit/change button (mine is a pencil)
what you want to edit is the Length/Values.
