E-mail Problem

I have an e-mail set up on my site which is linked to my gmail. Today people are gettting error messages stating:

"Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 Mailbox quota exceeded (state 14)."

My gmail account is not full. Does anyone know how to address this issue.

Have you tried sending yourself an email to the gmail account in question?
