option for customer self-verification?

Hi -

I just enabled customer approval (after getting a rather suspicious registration). I created a new account, and got an email welcoming me to the site.

What I didn't get was a way to respond to the email as a means of activating the account. So, do I assume correctly that such an option isn't available? Is there a notification to the admin of accounts pending approval, or is it simply my responsibility to check every so often?

There is no email based self-activation built into Zen Cart. I may do it as a mod at some point.

OK, cool. Is there a notification option within admin to send me an email when someone creates an account?

Also...where's the text for the email that gets sent to the customer upon account creation? I think I want to edit it.

email/email_template_welcome.html for html.
The text one is assembled in includes/modules/create_account.php.

Yikes. I guess the easy way to do this is to slip my message about account approval into the EMAIL_TEST constant, huh? I'd consider making a new constant, but I'm not sure that the HTML file will pick it up.
