I'm using version 1.3.8a on an Apache server using Linux with access through Cpanel. I was following security recommendations for renaming the admin folder which succeeded without incident. I had installed a WP blog on the server in the blog folder: public_html/blog prior to the full zen installation, and the zen cart installation went into public_html/shop/. After configuring all my products and activating the shopping cart with paypal, and checking that it appeared to be working, I renamed the admin folder and edited the admin/includes/configure.php file to incorporate the folder name change. I was able to login to the admin for the shop but I could not login to the blog at public_html/blog/wp-login.php. So I renamed the admin folder back to admin and I am able to login to the zen admin but still unable to login to the blog. I am able to navigate to the blog- http://example.com/blog but I am unable to login. Instead I get a redirect to index.php?main_page=page_not_found. I have a backup of the home directory done in cpanel prior to the folder rename. I may have edited some other file/s while following security recommendations and? or changed file permissions. I cannot remember exactly at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to recover the login to the blog?
