If I wanted to add a chat or call support button for people. Where would I put it? I definitely want it to always be available - maybe on one of the side boxes?

Use Crafty Syntax.........it's free (go to you cPanel and install it), and once you get it installed on your site you can install the mod for it located in the downloads section.
When your Crafty Syntax asks for you to register, click on the button, it will take you to their site an give you the Reg code.
