Wrong order status!

Hi all,

I'm getting a wierd error when customers buy from my site. I have added a few new order status via the localization menu, and now, despite having 'processing' marked as the default order status, whenever a customer now buys something, its marking it with another order status (in this case shipped).

Any ideas ?

The order's status is set to whatever order-status setting is set on the payment module used to pay for the order.

So, go to Admin->Modules->Payment, and make sure the status on each active module is set to an appropriate setting.

Its very misleading to have a default order status under the localization menu, when its infact set as part of the payment system, but thanks for the heads up. got it working now.

The "default" order status is one of the options which you can set individual payment modules to use. But each module can be set to override that for the unique needs of each one. A default is what's used if no other overriding preference is selected. Hence the ability to change each module individually.
