Multiple Zone Rate Setup

Hello,

I am currently in the process of getting shipping set up. I have authorize in testing mode until I do. I need a little guidance on this.

Here's a breakdown of the proposed shipping.

**************************************************
US only
**************************************************
- Orders over $100 free shipping.
- Flat rate orders under 4lb : $4
- Media Mail more then 4lbs: $8

**************************************************
International
**************************************************
- Under 4lbs: $16 Flat Rate Envelope
- Over 4lbs but under 20lbs: $55 Large Flat Rate Box
- Over 20lb: Contact Us

I am assuming that I will need to use Zone Rates to accomplish most of this.

My problem is I'm a bit confused about setting this up.
Zone1 would be US with the shipping table 4:4.00,8:8.00
Zone2 would be All other countries with shipping table 4:16.00,20:55.00

I'm not sure about what goes in the Zone 2 countries slot. Is there a list of the Country Codes? Also how to I set it up for orders over 20lbs going international to contact us for shipping costs?

Is there also a way to change the text the user sees when checking out. Instead of it saying "Best Way or Flat Rate"? Should someone from the UK order 14lbs of product I would like for it to say: "Large Flat Rate Box".

And the last and final question (sorry its so long winded) is how do I get the Free Shipping to only apply to US orders? I think I have it set but not sure. Zone on the drop down is set to Florida which seems to be my only option aside from none.

I would really appreciate any help or links to help on this. I have looked about for the last hour and haven't found anything either concise or layman enough for me. If I have to go into the php files that's no worries as I have coding background.

Oh the version is Zen Cart 1.3.8a I believe.

You may find the ZONETABLES mod more appropriate for multiple ZONES and multiple RATES.

I use it in many sites and it is ideal.

It can also be CLONED (create a copy so you get identical FUNCTIONALITY in a separate module).

One thing... You MUST have all your zones set up and zone definitions set up before you "activate" the module.

Thanks for this. So far so good just a couple a things to tweak. Is there a way to set it up so that orders over 20lbs international receive a contact us for shipping details? As it stands now I have it set up for orders under 4lbs are x price and orders between 4lb and 20lbs are x amount. The domestic (US) side of things is working fine

plus I would still like to be able to change the names from zone table 1 x Xlb's to a custom message but I think I need to do that in the php file.

Any help with the contact over 20lbs international would be great.
