Per Item (Best Way) Problem

At the moment I have set my website up as 'Per Item' for the shipping.

I have created a test account and it shows the rate of shipping below the shopping cart but when I go to checkout it doesn't display it.

I went as far as checkout to the PayPal page and this also only shows the cost of the item to be purchased but no shipping.

Im using version 5.2.11 (Zend: 2.2.0)

This is my first website which is version 5.2.11 (Zend: 2.2.0)

I have set up the per item rate in the shipping module.

I then created a test account added an item to shopping cart which underneath gives me the shipping cost estimator with the cost of shipping.

I then click on checkout to the next page which is 'Payment Information' which only displays the billing address and also the method of payment which is PayPal.

On the next page 'Order Confirmation' it only displays the product name of what im purchasing, the total and sub total. It is not giving me a postage amount. Then if I click continue it takes me to the PayPal payment page which displays only the item and no postage cost.

Sorry for being a noob, its probably something Ive not setup properly.

I haven't added any addons, or upgraded. I have also looked for PayPal express but dont have this option so im using 'Credit/Debit Card or eCheck (via PayPal)'

Could you check in your Zen Cart Admin in the Modules ... Order Totals ... and make sure Shipping ot_shipping is installed ...

Can you tell me how to do this please as im still getting to grips with it all.

I do have an Idea of editing php in the control panel as Ive done a few other things.

You go to your Zen Cart Admin for your store ...

Next, on the menubar you will see MODULES ... in that menu you will see ORDER TOTAL ... click on that ...

In the list you will see Shipping ot_shipping ... click on that ...

In the right hand panel, you will either see REMOVE or the INSTALL button ... if you see INSTALL ... click on that ... then click on UPDATE ...

Does this fix the problem?

Could you test this by clicking on the Shipping ot_shipping ... then click on REMOVE ... then click on INSTALL ... and then click on UPDATE ... and see if it starts working better?

I have tried it 3 times and still the same, I have also tested other shipping options and I still get the same results no matter which one I try.

Are you using the default Sort Orders on your Order Total modules or have you changed them?
