Why does my edit button not work when trying to edit my product?

I'm currently using 1.3.8a patch 1 on a fresh install on Lunarpages.

I have added a Category called 'Wholesale' and a sample product called 'test'.

The issue I'm running into is when I try to go back and modify the 'test' product. The 'edit' button links to the products.php page with the action=new_product which brings up the new product entry page instead of the edit page.

Here's the URL for the test system:

admin/admin (username/password)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I wouldn't believe that this is the anticipated flow, but being new to Zen Cart, I'm not 100% sure.

I cannot reproduce your issue ...

I edit the product ... hit PREVIEW ... hit UPDATE ... it updates ...

I just edited it twice by both clicking on the product itself and the 'E' button

Try it in a different browser maybe?

Works for me in FireFox, Opera, SeaMonkey and IE 6.x ...

I have the same trouble.

I use firefox 3.6.12, the last version, the same of zen-cart (139h). there is somethink to set in administration and check?

The cause of *your* problem is very different than the one to which you're replying.
